Have you ever woken up with an insatiable appetite for spicy food, beer and dog art? Me too. Well, last month I discovered that dreams really do come true when the delightful folks of the Spotted Dog restaurant invited me to showcase some of my favorite dog photography in their delicious establishment.

Seated smack dab in the heart of Carrboro, the Spotted Dog was one of the first places I encountered tastiness after relocating to NC.  It is a truly happy place. Spicy. Vegetarian-friendly. Dog Loving. One sips a local beer amidst the exposed brick walls, admiring a periphery of endless local dog art and wonders “Does it get much better than this?”

In short, righteousness abounds up in the Spotted Dog.

So come on down, y’all. You can find this guy among other greatest hits of the canine persuasion, framed and matted at a nice price.  Plus, you can eat a taquito while you’re at it.
